About Hockey Belgaum

Hockey Belgaum is the district association responsible for field hockey across Belagavi district. Our work covers three things: running district-level competition, finding and training players at school age, and sending district teams to Hockey Karnataka state championships.

What we do

• District championships for sub-junior, junior and senior age groups, for both boys and girls.
• Open selection trials ahead of every state championship, advertised on this site and through affiliated clubs.
• Residential and day coaching camps, including goalkeeping-specific sessions.
• Umpire and technical-official clinics, so district matches are run to Hockey India standards.

Membership

Clubs, schools and colleges in the district can apply for affiliation. Affiliated units may enter district competitions and nominate players for trials. Forms are on the downloads page; completed forms go to the association office.
